Ogden Funeral Homes

OVERVIEW

Established 1948 by Douglas & Effie Ogden in a private residence located on Main Street, of the then rural town of Agincourt.
They were committed to providing integrity, fairness and concern for all the families they served.
"Doug" was involved in the business and community until his death in 1992

Gordon & Sharon McIlmoyle (senior funeral director) are continuing the tradition of Sharon's father; a non-denominational provision of funeral services with "respect for traditions of all".
Already there is a "third" generation of the family — Tracy, Lesley, Michelle, and Kristine actively involved in daily helping people.

The original building was expanded in 1951 and again in 1961, and several adjoining properties were acquired for parking, to meet the needs of a growing metropolitan region. This growth once again has required the addition of a major new expansion, adding 11,000 square feet for a total of 26,000 while maintaining the large parking available.

As needs have changed over time Ogden Funeral Homes and staff had adapted to meet any unique requirements of families, regardless of faith or religion.
A full range of services are available at all times, including — Pre-Paid, Pre-Arranged and After Care Bereavement Programs
