ROOPLAL, Bassant - With wounded hearts we announce the passing of Bassant Rooplal. Bass passed away on August 10, 2010 while on vacation in Tobago with family and friends. Bass had celebrated his 65th birthday on August 8th and was preparing on enjoying retirement. Bass is survived by his Wife Bea and three Sons Subash, Neil and Yoga, Grandsons Kevin, Dillon and Sachin, Daughters-in-law Zena and Laura, Brother Bunka and Sisters Devika and Chunky. Bass was a very active member in the Hindu Community and will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Viewing will be held at The Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., on Tuesday, August 17th from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Ogden Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 18th from 8:30-10:30 a.m. followed by the Cremation which will be held at St. James Crematorium (Bloor St. and Parliament) at 12 noon.
