NORAH ROONEY In her 85th year, Norah (nee MCCarthy) passed away quietly in St. Michael's Hospital on June 29, 2012 at 5:40 p.m., surrounded by the love and support of her family. Predeceased by her husband Terrence Rooney and her son Terrence (Terry) James Rooney, she leaves her cherished children Michael, Deirdre (Norman), Paul, David and Philip. She will be deeply missed by her 10 grandchildren: Conor and Keara Norman, Austin, Brock, Matthew, Vanessa, Christopher, Adam, Natasha and Melissa Rooney. Her warm smile and genuine kindness will be sadly missed by all. The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to the compassionate and caring staff at St. Michael's Hospital. Visitation at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue E. (east of Kennedy Rd.), between 6-9 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 6th at St. Thomas More Parish, 2234 Ellesmere Rd. (east of Markham Rd.), at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
