NICK ARGIROPULOS It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nick Argiropulos on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Born on July 23, 1937 in the village of Pixos, Prespa, Greece, Nick immigrated to Canada in 1957. Beloved husband of almost 50 years to Helen and proud father of Dan (Sue) and George. Loving "Dedo" to Melanie, Nicholas and Melissa. Nick is also survived by his brother George (Flora) and many loving nieces and nephews. Nick is predeceased by his parents Kosta and Melpomeni, his brother Antonios (Vasa) and his sisters Luba (Antonios) and Christina. Nick fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and we thank Dr. R.N. Rana, Nurse Laura and the whole team at Scarborough General Hospital. Nick will be greatly missed by many close friends, relatives and neighbours. Friends and relatives will be received at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. (at Midland Ave.), on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, June 29th from 2-4 and from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Demetrios Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive, Toronto, on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society .
