HANSEN, Leif - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side in his 84th year of life. Beloved Husband of Dora. Loving Father of Karin (Stewart) and Mike (Cindy). Proud grandfather of Tina (Brett), Christopher, Robin, Rachel and Holly. Great-grandfather to Joshua, Cali and Dawson. Will be greatly missed by many family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow in the Ogden Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Pine Hills Cemetery.

My condolences to the whole Hansen family. Leif was a lovely man that I met many times over the years when I attended various work functions with my mom Myra. He was always very kind and made you feel like you were part of the family. I know he shared a special bond with my mom, she was always very fond of him, and enjoyed working for/with him over the years. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace Mr.Leif Hansen, You will be remember for generations as we are reaping fruits from your planted tree. I still remember your lovable smile and you used to bring chocolates for office staff during Christmas days. Love you always.

In 1997 it was such a pleasure to be welcomed into the Hansen family business by a wonderful and more than generous man! Leif saw something in me that prompted him to make me an employee and part of a very special family. Myself and my family thank Leif everyday for this! I will deeply miss the "good morning Sweetheart" and warm hug that Leif gave to me everyday he came into the office. Love you forever Leif!

It was an honour to work with Leif, what a generous and loving man. We looked forward to him coming into the office each morning and Myra making him his coffee. They would exchange words that would have us all laughing in the office. Heaven received an awesome man yesterday. Rest in peace Leif.
