Other Information:JEFFREYS, John William - June 17, 1938 - January 11, 2012 After a long and courageous battle with cancer, John died peacefully surrounded by his family in his 74th year on January 11, 2012 at Providence Health Care. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Noble) for 52 years. Loving father to Carolyn, Paul (Sophie) and Brent (Maria). Adored grandfather of Nicole and Victoria. John will be missed by his sister Gina (Stan) Boyd. We would like to thank Dr. Brodie and the compassionate caring nurses and staff in Palliative Care at Providence Health Care. John lived a full life and always put family first. He will be fondly remembered for his outgoing personality and quick wit. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough (west of McCowan Rd.), on Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Ogden Chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Providence Health Care Foundation.
