OKPEI, Barbara - Passed away at York Central Hospital with her family by her side on Saturday, September 24th at the age of 60. Beloved wife of London for 38 years. Loving and devoted mother to Elo and Ugu. Proud grandmother of Malakhi. Loving daughter of Ermilinda and the late Eugene Newton. Cherished eldest sister of Charis (Wellesley), Hazel (Harris), Carol, John P., Bonny (Norris), predeceased by Aggrey. Caring niece of Clarissa. Will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends in Canada, USA, Guyana, England and Nigeria. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29th, from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service at Agincourt Pentecostal Church, 2885 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough, Friday, at 10 a.m. Interment at Christ the King Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
